Cambodia has already imposed a 50% tariff on everything from USA. The chain of events is expected to go on till ahelathy compromise can be found. Critics argue that the tariff war can bring these developing countries and island countries close to China thus helping it establish a hegemony.

Where do you think the Tariff war will end? Do you think it will have any significant bearing on international relations? I can already sense that major industrial channels will move away from China and developing nations will begin to depend heavily on china.

I am sure it will go on.

As far Trump is in office, he thinks that he can play with every nations based on Tariffs.

To bring this into context, a tariff and unilateral sanction was imposed on China based on the CHIP war, but still China was successful in developing chips and DeepSeek that bled the American Stock Markets.

So I think that the trend of tariffs will continue, but it will become more and more ineffective.
