discuss Wireless Charging: Pros and Cons

A thread covering the latest news on trends, groundbreaking technologies, and digital innovations reshaping the tech landscape.
I have noticed that people are now neglecting the traditional way of charging their gadgets. The trend is wireless charging. The advantages of wireless charging are huge, but it's not without disadvantages too. I like following the trend in tech, and that's what's up right now. The question is- is it worth the hype?

No. It charges too slow.

It would not be my first choice to fully charge my device, but if there's a wireless charging station — as there is on my treadmill — I'm still going to utilize it to keep power steady.

Nothing beats a fast charging block.

As for me, I like wireless charging because the convinience that it offers me are great. I don't have a to worry about tangled cords or lost charging cables. It also makes my charging units neat and organised. It adds a cool style to my room. Yes, I agreed it's slower but I charged overnight and that makes up for it.

I agreed because it's a common concwrn for most people butI have exceptions. Before you can conclude, you need to check if your device supports wireless fast charging. There are newer models that charge pretty fast.

I'd rather stick to the traditional way of charging thank you very much.
This is the belief of so many people. Arguably, the traditional wired charging still remains the best. It's what we're all used to.

I do not use wireless charger but I know it is more convinent to use wireless charger and it also is clutter free. But on the flip side, it takes longer time to charge.

Is wireless charging really wireless? Think about it. You still have to plug the charger into the wall. The only difference is the mode of delivery, which is induction. So wireless charging is more like induction charging with a fancy name.

Oh, and I do not use it because it is too slow, and it makes my phone overheat while I use it.
