People that are involved in romantic relationships are always advised against checking their partner's phones. I don't know why I can't be free to handle my partner's phone, and check anything I want to check if he is not playing stupid games outside.

Why shouldn't I really check my partner's phone?

Checking your partner’s phone can damage trust and privacy. In my experience, open conversations build stronger bonds than snooping. If doubts arise, talking honestly is healthier than spying, which often leads to more problems and hurts the relationship long-term.

Today in most relationship, phones are now more private than private parts which is a big shame. More than 90% of all relationships will crash today if their partners are allowed to go through their phones impromptu.

What I know is that one can easily misunderstand things they see in their partner's phones and it wrecks the relationship. I am a business person. And there are some clients that just want to call you sweet names. And my partner checks my phone and sees someone calling me "sugar". ( I actually have a client that calls me that). My partner would never understand that is a client. Better to stay away from each other's phones.

I don't see why you can't. When you're in a relationship, you should both have enough trust to go through each other's phone or other things. When someone doesn't want you to, there could be other issues at hand.

Personally, I don't do it when I'm in a relationship as if I want to know something, I'll ask. Trust is a major thing here as when a relationship has trust, things tend to work out the best.
