Politicians are powerful and influential individuals who can dodge a lot of legal clauses and escape judicial punishments for the crimes they have committed. However, we also know that the judiciary system is independent and unbiased. How then, more often than not, the politicians involved in legal disputes roam free?

Justice is often delayed in cases involving politicians due to several factors, such as legal loopholes, complex legal procedures, political influence, and the involvement of powerful networks. Politicians may use their power to manipulate the system, prolong trials, or delay proceedings, leading to slow or even stalled justice. Political cases often involve intricate legal battles, public scrutiny, and potential conflicts of interest, which can further slow down the process. The lack of political will or fear of backlash may also contribute to delays.

That's because they have connections to get away from the punishments. They can interpret the laws according to their needs. Recently, a few guys was apprehended by police and sent to jail for over a week just because they criticized the Prime Minister of the country. Look at their hypocrisy, they cannot even tolerate criticism when they claim to serve the people.

There are levels to this life that we live and the politicians are at a level above the common man. They break the law with impunity and use their political affiliations to escape punishment. It is only in very few instances and very few countries that politicians are held accountable by the justice system regardless of who they are.

I understand that justice might be delayed in cases where politicians are involved but we also need to look at the backlog of cases in the judicial system because that has a significant effect in court proceedings too. That doesn't say that the politicians can't exploit the loopholes in the law and used their power to influence decisions.
