The United state of America is often regarded as the leader in technology because of Silicon Valley. Also, the US is home for tech giants like Google, Apple and Microsoft but we should not forget that countries like China, Japan, South Korea and Israel are also advancing in tech rapidly. Because tech is evolving, there are a lot of countries that are also coming up with different innovations.

I don't think that we would say the United States is the undisputed leader in technology now. They might be the best inventors of technology. But China has the best framework for technological adaptation. There is no clear number one country in technology. It is an ecosystem which major countries that are tech hubs contribute.

The United States fuels innovation but it lacks the infrastructure to mass production, that's why they outsource tech product from countries like China. China on the other had does not have any innovation, it takes form others and make it better. Japan is also a front runner in tech world. It manufactured the first laptop, the first touch screen

I think China has us beat technology wise. They produce a lot of our phones, chips and more. They've even ahead of us when it pertains to ai systems.

They have more people that can actually focus on technology 24/7 than the United States does. They don't have anything better to do. The United States has a ton of quality tech as well, but I really think China is ahead.
