off-topic What's the most challenging thing you've ever done?

We all deal with life's trials but several difficult moments still lingers in our memories. When we tell our life stories to others we inspire them to face their difficulties effectively. But the feelings of triumph after overcoming those challenges are great and it will probably stay permanent in our mind. What about you?

Completing my university education is my toughest challenge. The requirements were so demanding. However the psychological tests were the hardest part to overcome for me. I had to fight my way through my worries.

The most challenging thing I have ever done was to play piano in the national stadium in my country. That music concert was attended by the vice president of my country. The person billed to play fell sick that morning. And I was contacted to step in. I didn't have even a single rehearsals with the band. I was not sure that I could pull it off but I did excellently. And everyone commended my playing.

One of the most challenging things I have ever done is learning a programming language myself. I had to push myself and practice consistently. I wouldn't say that I've gotten there yet because I'm still in the learning process but to some extent, the sense of accomplishment I felt is incredible.

One of the most challenging things I ever did in my life was leave the mentally abusive relationship I was in with my four kids and move onto a better life with just me and my kids.

I was always told that I would never be able to cope on my own, that I would want him back, that I would beg for his help when he left and I never did. It was tough but I had my family behind me and I am pleased now after 10 years to say that I have four great kids who are doing well

The most challenging thing that I have ever done was to setup my business. It was challenging for me because I just didn't have enough funds to set it up and I was a green horn in the business.

Life is certainly full of challenges. Having said that, finding a new job could be a big challenge. Many people have a really harder time getting a new job, as economy is really poor. If you live in a developing country, things could be tougher.
