off-topic What's the best thing that's happened to you this week?

This week has been amazing! I just made my car the way I wanted it. Although, it cost me a lot but I eventually did after saving money for a long time. I am very excited about it and looks like a new phase of life. How about you? Have you had anything positive this week?

The best thing that happened to me this week is my sister giving birth to a baby boy after four years. It was like already getting disturbing but I am so happy that I have a nephew already.

The best thing that I did this week was to get my wife a gift of diamond necklace. I had promised her that I would get one when 5 years back I started the journey to qualify for a very important national exam, which I did last year. the idea was to buy her one from my very first salary and I did that!

I am very happy. Next month I am taking my parents to an island resort as a gift from my salary. <3

Glad you like it! I remember being young and customizing my car with new paint, rims, and a stereo system you could hear from a kilometer away (2400W subs alone).

Great car and a shame that I was mislead into believing I could take it back to the States for free — as it was a JDM, the sales price could've been 2x what I paid, and instead, had to hastily sell it for whatever I could to get it out of my name at $1400-1800, and a major loss.

Congrats on becoming an aunt/uncle! My half sister was older than me, so I became an uncle at like 6, essentially having brothers and sisters at that point.

Very awesome of you! My first paycheck from my large salary sales commission job was to wipe out my mom's debt. She constantly put stuff on credit to get us through. She shouldn't have had to put up with that on her own after retirement, so I zeroed her out, and told her that I was her bank if she ever needed anything and to never sign up for predatory 25%+ interest cards again.

As for me, nothing special happened this week. I had an appointment with an attorney to get the wheels moving on some stuff, but it's not an accomplishment until those wheels start spinning and take me somewhere.

Alongside everyone else I experienced a fantastic week. After enduring months of stress I was able to finally take some personal time for relaxation. I dedicated quality time to both family members and friends. It was awesome!

I made good money trading crypto currency this week. I traded all day long for a couple of days.
