Many people may say that looks do not matter. However, I think that they are wrong. There are, indeed, many people who think that looks matter to them. This is because they may be attracted to people who are good looking. This is also one of the main reasons why looks could be very important.
I know that physical attraction may be the reason why people hook up in the first place, I think personality is the key to a healthy relationship. If one pleasant, empathetic, and laughing, it can build a much deeper rapport. While the physical attraction is temporary.
Many people might be initially attracted to other people based on their looks. However, when it comes to long-term relationships, people have to consider various other factors as well. This also involves personality as well. Personality plays a very important relationship when it comes to how long a relationship would continue.

When it comes to the debate between looks and personality for a potential partner of mine. I am not compromising on any of them. You must be pretty, have good character and personality for me to think of dating you. I am not going to shortchange myself to settle for one and feel like the other is not important.

For me, personality is definitely more important than looks. Physical appearance might catch my attention at first, but it’s someone’s personality that truly holds my interest and builds a meaningful connection. I’ve found that kindness, humor, empathy, and the ability to communicate well make a much deeper impact on relationships than just good looks. Looks can fade or change over time, but a strong personality keeps things real and lasting. That said, I won’t deny that attraction matters too but it’s the person behind the face that really counts in the long run.

I cannot deny the fact that looks are also important but personality is more important because our physical attraction is a good quality and it's one of the things that will attract you to a person at first before you start to look at their personality.
For me personality matter most. Your Look is a transient thing, with time good looks will wither, however, personality always stays with you.
If I find someone with average looks and a great personality, I would rather stick to such a person. As a man, peace of mind is my greatest desire.
