game What was the very first fps game you played?

If you're a fan of the first person shooter genre of games, can you recall the very first game in the genre you played? Which platform did you play this game on? The first one I ever played was 007 Goldeneye on the N64. I remember my cousins had a N64 back in the day and they rented it from Blockbuster once. I was about 8 or 9 years old at the time and I remember my cousin ended up kicking my butt in multiplayer. I never played the main campaign, and didn't really get into the genre until I was gifted that same N64 and got Turok 2 Seeds of Evil at the age of 12.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was the original Halo game. I was introduced to it in my teenage years and had so much fun playing the campaigns and multiplayer.

Some people got their first experience in shooter games with 007 Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64! I enjoyed myself playing with my cousins. It is a very basic game but is so much fun too. I discovered that a large number of children enjoy shooting games with friends and relatives.

The very first FPS game that I played was Half-Life, later becoming addicted to Counter-Strike.
