discuss What makes a satisfying movie ending?

I like the movie endings which remain faithful to story to the end. I don't only focus on the endings alone because those never represent the whole narrative. What I mean is that ending of a story must conform with the content and mood presented in the film. Particularly, I like how "Inception" was concluded. What about you?

For a movie to deliver all to the end, it must achieve a good ending. I don't like a film that leaves the viewers unsure, it really makes me feel irritated. Immediately I saw this thread, The Lord of the Rings is what quickly come to my mind because the end was delivered quite well.

When a movie ends well, it stays with me for a very long even if I didn't watch the second time. There are some films i still remember even after decades of watching them. It was due to how it was concluded maginificently.
