off-topic What is your take on….

I got into a VR gaming machine a couple of months ago. Once your senses are "taken away", it's quite enjoyable. However, unlike gaming on a console or PC, I couldn't see myself playing the same game for 8-hours straight that way, as surely at one point, I'd get motion sickness from the movement.

I haven't tried any of the other headsets like Meta Quest, etc., to have an opinion on it. But, it's probably fun, just like gaming on a PC or console.

VR may take some gamers in that direction, but there will always be PC and console gaming, as you also have the experience of playing with those around you.

I would find it quite anti-social to have VR parties. Everyone with a headset on and can't see other people's reactions during gameplay? It seems more like a single-player activity to me, but I may be wrong as generations change.

The innovative technology of VR can have positive social impact on training medical staff and creating more secure treatment in that sector
This is kind of scary if they skip working on cadavers in favor of VR, as one would believe you need that muscle memory while holding a scalpel to make an insertion or cut as 1 millimeter could be the difference between life and death. 😨
