To be able to be an actor, there must be some requisites. Physical appearance, skills, acting, dialogue delivery, training, certificates, etc all these might be required to get into Hollywood. However, there are others who have made their mark despite not having all of these requirements. What do you think, really makes an actor?

Honestly i think what really makes an actor is presence and passion and natural ability to connect with people emotionally.
You can train and improve but that raw energy and authenticity?you either have it or you dont.
Its not all about looks or certificates its about wining moments.
I totally agree with you there, characters most commonly that play negative roles and comedian roles vouch for this. There are not necessarily appealing look wise, however, they have the power to connect to people emotionally and natural talent.
Training is crucial but when you have the natural acting talent and the charisma, it will be easier to convey emotions and bring character to life. You will resonate with the audience on a deeper level.
A good face, a well maintained physique, good voice, and acting skills. You also need additional skills like doing stunts, or action sequences. In Bollywood, you also need dancing skills. It is not easy to become an actor, as you need to be talented on multiple discipline. For instance, if you act well but don't have a well maintained body, you are likely to be rejected.
