off-topic What do you wish you had studied more?

A fun idea I thought to ask is what you'd wish you paid more attention to or studied harder at in your childhood?

For me, I'd have loved it if I paid more attention and engaged more in music classes, as it would've helped me learn to play instruments like the guitar at an earlier age.

I deeply regret not studying languages thoroughly because I especially wanted to master Spanish and French. The language skills that I missed should have been useful to me by now. It could have been a source of income to me.

For me, it's mathematics. It was so challenging to me because I never saw its relation to my future interests. But by the passage of time, I now realised that math is very crucial in many different professional fields including science and technology.

I regret not studying seriously a new language when I had the opportunity to do so.

I studied in the United Arab Emirates from Std 1 to Std 7 and it was when I had the opportunity to study Arabic, free of cost, part of my academics and at an age that is good to learn new information.

But Jeez! It didnt work that way and now I regret it

I came here to say that.

I elected to do Spanish 1/2/3/4 in high school when I knew I always wanted to go to Japan, but didn't study Japanese because I didn't foresee living in Japan, just visiting. Whereas with Spanish, I could see many more countries and speak the same language. So, it seemed like Spanish would be a better language to learn as opposed to Japanese...

I also regret not hammering out Arabic on my days off getting hammered drunk instead. I could've gotten a nice pay raise for knowing Arabic at the time.

I think I would have settle down to really studies science subjects. it really make sense to me now and I wondered why I didn't studied it earlier

I regret not learning public speaking at the time that I was supposed to learn. Here I am still not able to hold a one hour tutorial on a craft that I know so much about because I hadn't mastered the rudiments of public speaking.

I regret not giving much time to studying human beings that I have in my life as friends in the past before trusting them. Not doing this have had me suffer too many back stabbing and betrayals. The good thing is that it's not too late for me to start learning doing it now.

I studied science in high school but I graduated with a business degree. I wasn't interested in computers when I was in college, I wish I had taken computers more seriously, I wish I had learned how to code. I am wish I had learned video editing and animation.
