Lots of people love a particular sport and if given a chance will jump on the field and play however best they can. Of course, not everyone can become a professional at a game. However, how many can be a referee since almost all the audience become judgmental while watching a game? If you were given a choice between becoming a player or becoming a referee for your favorite sport, who would you rather be?

I've never officiated any match and I don't think I have the required skills to such, but I've been a great footballer. I play as a midfielder and I can dribble quite well.🤣 You wanna try me? 🤣
Are you better as a defensive or attacking midfielder? I am a very good box to box midfielder. I can run for 90 minutes without gasing out.

My favourite sport is football and I would rather be a player than a referee. We are always wishing the player took the shot instead of passing or placed it at the other angle. I would love to step into the field of play a d see how it goes for those players.
A lot of fans only know to talk the talk but can't walk the talk. It's the the life of fans. I know some of my guys who are always talking trash about some players, when we play weekend games, they gas out in less than 20 minutes of play.

I am better as a player than as a referee. You would need so much carefulness to be a referee. A single error by a referee can alter the outcome of a match. The stakes are not that high for a player.
Even the use of VAR isn't making the job easier for referees because most of the time, the VAR is very inconsistent which brings them under a heavy criticism.

I would like to be a referee, I am studying law and I find it interesting to decide on other people's problems, in this case deciding on problems that inside the field
Good luck my friend in your study. It's not an easy course trying to become a lawyer. Are you going to criminal law study or civil law?
