I liked him a lot in The Doors. It was his best performance I think, but maybe Tombstone was as good.
I remember him from The Doors and Top Gun, wasn't my favorite actor, though.
I really liked him as Doc Holiday in Wyatt Earp!
He is not my favorite one, but I liked him.
Just earlier today I was watching The Snowman. I remembered this thread while Val Kilmer appeared on the screen and I realized how aged he looked in that movie. He certainly had a mature role and executed it well. I recalled seeing him in other movies too previously, however, I couldn't recollect the movie names. I pray that his soul Rest In Peace.
The average age for death is 77, but it's sad to see anyone go.
