news US withdraws from WHO

One of the first executive order that US President Trump signed was to withdraw US from World Health Organization.

What do you think is the probable implication?

I dont think there would be much implication because:

1. Other countries like Russia, UK, China, India are all in a position to contribute more

2. US withdrew from UNESCO and nothing happened. The organisation still thrives.

3. This is just an interval. US will have to return because of the all pervasive nature of the concept of health.

Trump is a really proactive person. Withdrawing the United States from WHO is a big one. The funding capacity of the US would be surely missed with this withdrawal. WHO would thrive though but not at the same level.
