I am one of those that benefited from remote work flexibility. It allows for better work life balance and reduces commuting time greatly. To some extent, it has also increased my productivity.
Remote work is getting more popular and more jobs that are not physical in nature are being done remotely. I have not really done an organized job remotely but I offer freelancing services remotely for some of the services that I undertake.
Remote work is great because location isn't a problem.

I wouldn't say that I remote work, but I do work from home and online, which I have been doing for a few years now. I have found that being my own boss and being able to accept work I know I can manage due to my health condition has been the better option for me, and it works out well for me too.
I think that remote work has given people more job satisfaction than having to go through the routines of working on site. It has also opened up more opportunities for people from different parts of the world to access jobs that they wouldn't have gotten if work was still 100% on site.
It is also known as remote working because you have plans and how you get to execute them. It is just what it is because you are not there physically with your employer doing the work.
After I completed my university education, I decided to continue writing for newspaper and apply for any job. While seeking for more opportunities, I discovered online job sites. Once I started earning, it was no turning back. I have been working remotely for many years.
This is satisfying to read. I am starting and building my career in the online space and would like to know if there are challenges that you've ever had along the way of working online.
The major challenge is you will not be able to build stable income, in some months, you will be able to earn well, and in some months you might not be able even to pay bills. Likewise, you will also have to do a lot of things, as single skill might not earn you enough
Remote working was proliferated by the Covid 19 pandemic. And since then, it has become an integral part of human existence. I don't think remote work would slow down in the coming years but rather would become more popular and more people would prefer the cons of working remotely.
