discuss The Human Side of Jesus

This thread covers all aspects of ideologies, including beliefs, principles, traditions, policies, and their influence on society and culture.
If the portrayal of Jesus as human is done with respect, then I don't see anything wrong in it but if it is otherwise, then it is a blow to the Christian Dome. The bible made us understand that Jesus experiences human emotions and that is why he is compassionate. Sometimes he gets angry and he also experiences sorrow too. We all know that!

The movie "The Last Temptation of Christ" portrayed Christ's human side very well, but many fundamentals hated this movie, seeing it as disrespectful.
I read the description of that, and it sounds gross to even consider watching. I would go as far as saying that it wasn't truthful in portraying Jesus' human side, but rather a portrayal of the demented side that the director or writers had in their lives, painted as the life Jesus could've lived.

I'm not a religious person, but I don't think I could watch that.

I think this is the best warning to support the belief that I have of the movie:
"This film is not based on the Gospels, but upon the fictional exploration of the eternal spiritual conflict."

The movie seemed like a coordinated attack on Christianity and it is not fair. The entire crew that sponsored this movie did the wrong thing that can never be justified to be right in any guise. I just know that some other religions might not take this lightly. It is what it is and we would let love lead. This is wrong in every way.
