For some, the transition was seamless while a few actually fell flat after changing their careers. One singer that successfully moved from singing to acting is Will Smith. He made the leap from rapping to acting with ease, starring in blockbuster films. Who is your favourite singer-turned-actor or actor-turned-singer?

We have heard some great singers that turned actors and they nailed it in acting. On the other hand, there are some singers that are not successful in their careers when they switch to acting. Mark Wahlberg was a rapper that turned actor and was so successful. Whitney Houston is a singer but didn't succeed in acting at all.

Will Smith is a great choice! I also like Lady Gaga—she transitioned from singing to acting beautifully.

Justin Timberlake isn't a bad actor, but an example of one that I can think of as a singer-turned-actor.

I can't recall which movies I enjoyed with him in it so I searched IMDb:

But, I noticed off the bat that he's a voice actor for Trolls, so that's still huge.
