discuss Should You Buy the Latest iPhone or Wait for the Next Model?

A thread covering the latest news on trends, groundbreaking technologies, and digital innovations reshaping the tech landscape.
My rule has always been that I do not need a new phone unless the one I have is more than three years old, or is damaged beyond repair. This is especially true in the last few years, when there have only been small changes between models.

I know things like the camera and processors are always improving, but I do not find myself using the camera so much that I need the latest option or needing the most powerful phone for what I do.

I have never felt the need for an iPhone. Sure, it is a great phone but why should I spend that kind of amount when I can invest the same amount in Apple stocks and make more money. I use budget phone and Apple does not make budget phone

I don't get the hype of an iPhone user that has to have the next model on release day. Most are already in debt from the first one.

I use my Samsung Galaxy for 2-3 cycles.
I don't think that I need new phones every year. At least I can do without it especially if the one I am using still functions well. Using a phone for 2-3 cycles can help in saving some money.

It depends on which iPhone you currently have, if it does not represent a significant change in technological advance from mobile to mobile you should wait since it is not worth buying a new one if it does not change much with the one you currently have
That's a practical approach. If my current iPhone is still satisfactory and does not seem outdated to me, I do not need to replace it immediately. I’ll rather wait for the improved model.
