discuss Should Western Democracies Impose Their Values on Other Nations?

Western countries often promote democracy, human rights, and free markets abroad. Some see this as necessary for progress, while others call it cultural imperialism. Should the West actively spread its values, or is it wrong to interfere with other cultures?

I'm not sure if it does any good even if there's an attempt.

I cannot deny that western democracy has imposed their values even in my own country. It's a delicate one and I think it is left for the developing countries to create a balance between promoting Western democracy and respecting their cultural values. Yes, I agree that democracy has brought so many benefits but it would be so arrogant to assume that our values have not been tampered with in the process.

God can deal with people's bad culture, but interference from other cultures isn't the way to go.
