discuss Should Amorim be sacked if this happens?

A thread for live match analysis, player performances, scores, highlights, fan predictions, and general sports discussions across all sports.
Losing the Europa league is not enough reason for Amorim to be sacked. He should stay for one season and start it so we can see what he is made of. But for EPL solidarity, I want to see Amorim and United win the Europa league.

I hope he gets to win the Europa League. They have a match today, and I think the team should do much more in this away match if they are hoping to grab anything from this fixture. Else, they will lose again.

Why should Ruben Amorim be sacked because he didn't win the Europa League? He was signed in mid season when Manchester United is already in crisis. Manchester United's board haven't backed him in the transfer window. Why is there talks about him being sacked over Europa League?

If they fail to win the Europa League, then Manchester United won't be playing in Europe next season. I hope that you are aware of that?

Was Manchester United in the Europe position in the English Premier League table when they hired Ruben Amorim? It was no where written in his contract that if they didn't qualify to play in Europe next season, he will be sacked. So?

Winning the Europa league or not is not what would determine if Amorim would lose his job or not. It is when he fails to improve the team at the end of next season that the board would start looking into the possibility of sacking him.
There's no improvement left for Manchester United to have on the EPL table. They will finish this season in the bottom half of the table. It's only this Europa League they have to fight for. Whether they win or lose it, it doesn't decide Ruben Amorim's fate.

Man United won't only finish in the bottom half, they will finish 16th or 17th. That means if there was only 18 teams in the Premier League, they would be relegated this season 🤣
