There are a lot of celebrities who are into scientology which is a religion created by the late L Ron Hubbard who was a science fiction author.

What's your thoughts on this?

I was once introduced to Scientology and we were mandated to take some courses to understand what it is all about, of which I was given certificates of completion.

Based on experience, It's a spiritual practice and it deals with pressing issues like conflict resolution, marriages etc. We were even told to carry out community development projects which will be funded by the organization. I tried to create a project but I quit when funds were not released.

I wonder if financial troubles are currently occurring in scientology.

I'm not sure. I don't know much about it. I only hear about it when it's negative news against it but it's not a big thing where I'm from, either. Seems to be centralized in bigger cities.

I heard about Scientology many years ago when Tom Cruise allowed his daughter Suri to be treated with modern medicine despite being a a Scientologist. I guess this believe system tries to solve everything through prayers. No offense to anyone but I find this foolish.

You are right. I have taken some of their recommended courses. The knowledge I gained is very helpful. They really lay emphasis on impacting local communities.
