Safe Is Just a Shadow is a great album by the metalcore band Ice Nine Kills. This a great album that resonated with all their followers. To be honest with you, Safe Is Just a Shadow is one of my favorite Ice Nine Kills albums.

Koch had a higher pitch on his voice and both Charnas and JD could sing vocals really well. Moreover, this record was far more polished than their previous album. They have no doubt nailed it in this album

Overall, I got the impression that this music was darker than the first. While it may have been not always the case, Safe Is Just a Shadow breathed new life into their music, making them sound great. I like the album a lot.
