I have known people who practically never stop studying! They take up one course after another despite their increasing age. I know of a 76 year old man who still knows the latest in his field and tries to take up relevant courses to learn the new technology! This makes me wonder, if age really matters when trying to grasp new things? Could you still pursue new academic courses at an older age? Can our brain understand, process and retain new information despite the age?

In the age when people want to become successful quickly and are interested in making a lot of money, I do not think a lot of people are interested in building academic career, especially in growing age. However, a lot of people, even the elderly people, are interested in upskilling or learning new skills through short term courses.

Of course you can learn many things at any age. There is no limit regarding age. I have seen many people who have been pursuing bachelor's degree at a later stage of their life. However, it is much better to decide what you want to do at a younger age.
