discuss Polygamy: How do you see it?

This may have a gender biased response. Men might see polygamy differently than women. This was a common practice in the olden days for many important reasons like propagation of our species and taking care of young girls by elderly men. However, in our times, it is happening for different reasons like love or money. How do you see it? Would you like to have multiple spouses?

Polygamy is still being practiced widely in my country. And sincerely, I don't see anything that is wrong with it. As far as a man can comfortably take care of the multiple women he marries financially and provide for the entire family, it is fine from my point of view.

Polygamy is a very complex issue because in some culture and religious practices, it is allowed but others do not support it. The truth is that women are larger in numbers compared to men. So if we practice the one man, one woman thing, who will marry the remaining girls?

I am a woman and I want the attention of my man all to myself. I am not an advocate of polygamy in any guise. I believe that one good and ideal woman is enough for any man.
