I work during the weekends now since I have a new job. My weekends are Tuesday and Wednesday currently but that's going to change come after the fifth of January. I'll be off on Sunday and Monday then. I usually just chill on my days off of work, and do some chores.
I more or less enjoy the silence at home these weekends. The kids are now old enough, and mature enough, to leave home by themselves. I'll soak this up for a while before I start venturing out with the wife on more daily things like going to lunch buffets, shopping, etc.
Are you finally done with your probationary period?
You might not like the idea of it now, but this is the best schedule, in my opinion. You get the busiest of Saturday night to relax on Sunday and have everything to yourself on Monday as everyone is at work.
I am actually expecting more of a quite relaxing weekend probably with family and friends. A barbecue and possibly a movie night is in the pipeline for us.
We're already planning for the weekend? Unfortunately I can't plan so early as I don't even know my plans in the next few days.
Usually no, but there's times where I do plan for the weekend if I wanna hang out with people.
I spent my weekend working on a couple of projects that were pending for a long time. Hopefully, I will complete it by the next weekend, and if I am able to complete it, I will be taking a leave and go to some retreat.
