Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
I usually go out on Friday afternoons to see movies, but there was nothing new running in the theaters. So, my wife and I stayed home and saw Nonnas as #1 on the Netflix US list. As my wife doesn't like comedy at night, it was a perfect pick for both of us.

I would say that the movie is a bit long, but it has a couple of stories that are important to make it the length.

The main criticism of the film, not reducing it by score, is that it's marked as a "comedy". There weren't any zingers left and right or anything much to laugh about, maybe a handful of times throughout the entire 2 hours (1hr 54min).

Nonnas is more of a heartfelt/feel-good drama than anything, in my opinion.

It's essentially a good watch of a person trying to become a businessman with a unique idea, it failing, and then miracles happened; otherwise, it wouldn't be much of a movie.

I would give it a 4/5.
