discuss Nature Doesn't Owe Us Anything, Get Over It

I heard this from some atheist (not a famous one) one time. He wrote it on some forum. Anyway, it seems harsh, but it's sort of funny in a cruel way, lol.

Do you all feel it is a correct saying? What's your reasoning?

That is a pretty straightforward statement but it holds some element of truth because if we really want to get into it, you would agree that nature exists differently and they operate by their own rules regardless of our needs or desires. When we recognize this, we can view the world differently.

It depends on context; humor and truth vary by perspective.

The world is full of cruelty like children getting cancer, pets starving to death, old people struck with Alzheimer's etc .
