It speaks volumes about want was brought in by Denmark. The whole 'Make California Great Again' petition should be viewed as a reply t to Trump's antics about Greenland.
Yeah! It is definitely a clever response to Trump's nonsensical initiatives on Greenland. Very funny and mocking of national ideologies.

They couldn't legally do it if they wanted to. But, they couldn't even do it period.

Denmark's GDP can't even be shown on this chart, sitting just roughly over $407 billion.

It would essentially come down to a vote for America to cede California — not going to happen — and California deciding that they couldn't rule themselves on the world stage.

Just Dane's having a good time, but also showing how none of this works, bolstering the idea of how America could be more beneficial to them than not.

Statistically, this might be true.

However, it still takes a lot of courage for a country as small as this to stand up against the whole might of America.

When Trump is pushing them around, they reversed the entire narrative by offering to buy California. That, I believe is a serious show of some hard metal.

I suppose so.

But it's not even economically feasible if they were to tax themselves 100% for the purchase of California (ignoring the economic impact of 100% taxes).

California would have to subsidize the purchase, which would essentially be California giving away California to be governed by an outsider who doesn't know how to run the state as they would as an independent country.
