Xavi Alonso might be the best appointment for Real Madrid because I can see that he would bring some significant changes to the team. His tactical approach and player preference will play a big role in this.

I think so, the biggest problem in Real Madrid right now is how they sign up new players, they have a very capacitated team of scouts, but ultimately is up to Florentino, even if the manager is not interested in that type of player at the moment

Madrid wants to try the experiment they did with Zidane again with Xabi Alonso. As at now, Alonso has earned the right to coach Madrid based on what he has achieved do far as a coach. But it is only time that would tell if this choice was the best choice. I believe so much in Alonso as a coach and I am certain he would succeed in Madrid if he could win the league with Leverkusen.

Real Madrid will definitely sign more players for Xabi Alonso. They will not leave out to suffer at the hands of Barcelona like they did last season with Ancelloti. Barcelona really humiliated Real Madrid 100%.

I just hope Xabi Alonso would be able to cope with this high pressure job even as a manager that is still building himself. I would have said it was too early in his managerial career to take the Real Madrid manager position. But Zidane did it and he can do it too.

I think that why Zidane had an easy going in managing Real Madrid when he took over was because he was the head coach of Real Madrid Castilla from 2014 to 2016 where he was playing in Spain's Segunda División B. He was also the assistant coach under Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid during the 2013–14 season. Xabi Alonso only played in Real Madrid, he doesn't have all the privileges Zidane had before having the main team to manage.
