discuss Is there an auto-update feature on websites?

I am not sure what exactly is it called, however, I will try to describe it. Here I shall use the example of a website where one has to apply for say, a certificate, and make payments, however, after the payment, shouldn't there be a way for the website to auto-update/acknowledge your payment? Why does it still show as debts, when the payment receipt is already on the site! How does one go about it?

I am not sure what website you are talking about but on most websites where they accept payment, they always notify that the payment has been credited. You even get an email about your payment.

There isn’t any “auto-update” feature for websites. If you’re using some type of software, it is up to you to update it.

If you’re paying for a certificate, then your hosting provider is taxing you. Certificates are free, especially lets encrypt.
