I met my partner at a coffee shop where I think the atmosphere was quite relaxed and that contributed perhaps to a deeper connection. Meeting at a bar or club can be quite a lot of fun, but usually with all the noise and the kind of attitude associated, might be turn offs. I think a more relaxed setting allows for the possibility to have a meaningful conversation and a stronger connection.

I met my wife in my uncle's house, interestingly he also was her uncle. He was my uncle from my father side (my father's distant cousin), and uncle from her mother's side. people were around, we were feeling very uncomfortable but we were able to take a moment to talk privately.
