Marriage and family structures have changed significantly in Western societies. Some believe this reflects progress, while others argue it leads to social instability. Do you think the decline of traditional families is a problem? What role should the government play in family policies?

I admit I have major grievances with Trump, but I have to admit that subsidizing lack of accountability isn't the way to go (ex: more money for being a single parent, then from being married). If only Republican candidates existed to zoom in on these problems without creating other equally bad problems.

Note: myself, I believe a huge welfare/industrial complex has developed, as with the military, so that's what fuels it. However, though, breaking this complex is cruel and painful (and sometimes unnecessary), as you note with DOGE cuts.

We cannot be blind to knowing that there is a decline in traditional families structure in the western world. This is due to a shift in the adoption of diverse family structures which is good, but also has its disadvantages. We cannot, because of modernization, forget about the traditional family structure which is the root. It brings out morals in children and makes them more disciplined.
