The English Premier League have always had the big six recognised clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur. They always dominated the league for decades but everything have changed recently.

It's only Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal that still maintains their status on the top with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham struggling every season.

Which teams do you think should replace Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham in the big 6 clubs in EPL?

At this point, the idea of premier league big 6 should be scrapped already. We can't have Man United and Tottenham languishing in 14th and 15th and still call them 'big' 🙄
I think it's still because of the success of Manchester United in the English Premier League and also because they have the biggest fan base in England that makes it very hard to drop them off as a big 6.

Nobody is taking the history away from them. But going by their current form, they barely qualify to still be known as one of the big 6

Why do you think they are still be recognised as a big 6 team in the English Premier League even though their form and league standing have been very bad?

I generally believe that the concept of big six had been washed away by the shambolic performances of both Man United and Tottenham this season. Gone are the days when you see them competing closely. Now all they are trying to do is survive the season. How the mighty has fallen!

I wouldn't say much about Tottenham because they were never a big team if you review the successes of all those teams dubbed big 6. Spurs haven't won anything worth mentioning in EPL.

True. How they even sneaked themselves into the discussion of big teams is a mystery. Their biggest achievement is making it to a Champions League final, which they lost.
