Love is an emotion that fades, if you lost contact with someone you loved, your love will also fade. Love sometimes appear as a choice you make every day. Do you share my perspective on love? Have you experienced moments where love felt like an effort rather than a natural feeling? How do you keep love alive in long-term relationships?

Love is an emotion that fades, if you lost contact with someone you loved, your love will also fade.
I don't believe that. Deep down, we still have the same emotions, just we handle them differently.

I only say this from experience because I've lost contact with a few people that I've had that feeling for, and then got the dreaded phone call that they're now gone. When that happens to me, the flashbacks of all the fond memories come rushing back, and I feel that same feeling of love that I once had come to life. However, it was always quickly overcome by the feeling of grief from the loss of a loved one who I had lost contact with.

If love was based on feelings then what happens in the days you're hurt or the days you have mood swings? Love could be a feeling, a good one at that but it's much more than that. Love is a choice. The day You choose to love is the day you choose peace over restlessness and resentment.
