off-topic Is jealousy the worst emotion?

For threads discussing subjects unrelated to the main forum topics.
Jealousy itself is an expression of many wrong things such as low esteem, insecurity, and fear. Jealousy is the worst emotion because it could make one to commit murder. Any time jealousy is about creeping into your mind because of the achievements of others, channel your energy towards working harder to achieve your own goals and celebrating those that succeed. Everyone has his purpose and the "sky is big enough to accommodate every bird".

Yes it is! Jealousy is a toxic emotion and it usually stems from issues like insecurity, trust or it could be as a result of the past trauma the person in question has gone through . The most important thing to keep in mind is; most people are hostile towards us because of their past experiences. In most cases, we don't have to hold it against them.

Jealousy is one of the worst emotions, if not the worst. Jealously triggers a lot or negative emotions, including hatred. But I also believe a little bit of jealously can also help you as you might be encouraged to do better.
I concur with your statement because I also know that jealousy can be very destructive but on the other hand, I still believe that it is natural to feel some jealousy at times. The most important thing is to recognize when it is becoming dangerous and have the ability to channel that energy into something more productive.

That is well articulated because jealousy can definitely lead to sad occurrences if not controlled. That is why we need to focus on our own goals and celebrating other’s successes. Believe me, it's one of the ways to deal with jealousy head on and it is also a reminder that we all have our own unique path and purpose.

The points you raised are very valid because jealousy comes from some unresolved or deeper issues which could be insecurity or unfavorable past experiences. We need to approach this situation with understanding rather than taking it so personal.
