discuss Is being complex making people unhappy?

This thread covers all aspects of ideologies, including beliefs, principles, traditions, policies, and their influence on society and culture.
Being complex means overthinking, deeply analyzing emotions, or constantly seeking meaning. These thoughts and behaviour can sometimes lead to unhappiness, especially if it causes mental overload or emotional isolation. Complex individuals may struggle with feeling misunderstood, dissatisfied, or anxious because they see layers others overlook. However, complexity isn't inherently negative; it can also build creativity, empathy, and insight.

Complexity can make people unhappy by overwhelming them. Simple people are loved and cared
Yeah, I agree. There are too many problems.

I think people who are too complicated are too obsessed with injustice when so much of it cannot be solved, so why worry about it?

Some people worry too much.
I was like this up until my late 20s, and to a degree, still am, as I would consider myself a prepper. However, prepping is only done if something happens; I don't worry about the what or when, because I'm semi-ready for it if it does. Some preppers hyperfocus on the what and when, so the prepping overtakes their entire lives for an event that may never happen. I don't think that's necessarily healthy to do, and don't worry about it because it's uncontrollable.
