I can't say that AI is bad because it is just a tool and the impact depends on how it’s been used. It can bring a lot of benefits like healthcare improvement, increase work efficiency and lot more. But there are concerns about job displacement and even security risk. Ultimately, the outcome really depends on how AI is designed and used

AI is good for many things.

But AI is also bad for many things including harming many traits that makes humans, human.

AI is killing our brain power. It's killing our social skills. It's killing our trust in people instead of a chat bot. It's definitely killing our creativity.

But it will only advance from here.
When people replace it with their own thinking, it is a problem.

This is one thing that I hate about it as well. We are designed to think and use our brains. When people stop doing that, they become dumb.

Did you see the latest cartoon? A farmer tells his horse

" No, the tractor won't replace you, but a horse which learns how to ride one will "

This is a very true statement.

AI won't replace many jobs, but people who know how to do the job utilizing AI will replace other workers.

I work in a secure environment. If it were the government, it would be called a SCIF. But it is regulated by a state commission and a specialized law enforcement agency. Our particular state required our system to be closed. Therefore, we don't get all the cool facial recognition tech and AI stuff.

However, I've been learning how to use it and get good at it (elsewhere) so that when we finally get to use it (and hopefully we do), I'll be ready.

It's already replacing factory workers in Amazon, replacing some jobs in the gaming sector and replacing pharmacy workers at places like Walgreens.

These jobs were better with humans involved, especially developers in the gaming sector and artists.

I agree. I don't like it. I'm hoping it fails so we can say "you get what you deserve".

I'm pretty sure AI replaced me as the community manager of Copyblogger.
