discuss Intervention - Good or bad?

Recently, Donald Trump made a illegal intervention into the matters between India and Pakistan and declared that a ceasefire has been agreed to. Do you think this kind of intervention is good or bad?

How can one country put their nose into the matters of another country? It has resulted in catastrophic war on one side and has avoided many wars on the other side.

To be honest with you, up until now, I do not understand Donald Trump's foreign policy because it is so unpredictable. His America first policy only prioritized bilateral relationships over anything else.

How do you define "legal and illegal" intervention in a situation when two nuclear nations at war? When you cannot settle something on your own, others will certainly intervene as long as it will have broader effect.

I often feel as though Donald Trump tends to chime in like he does such as this situation because he wants to look like the hero so to speak, like he is the leader who is fixing everything when in fact, he is instead jumping in where it is not needed and where an announcement could be made by someone else.

Surely it should have been those countries that made that announcement?
