I got no problem with Trump strongly enforcing the law and it was bad that Biden was so weak on it, on purpose, mainly to gain more democratic voters and perhaps as the tail end of some darker scheme.

Anyway, though, what good is immigration laws, if they aren't enforced, but those laws aren't the main problem with Trump currently, but rather, incredibly stupid moves regarding Canada, Gaza, and Europe.

The US is a democratic country where there is rule of law. There was never a time the US immigration laws haven't been enforced to the letter. Deportation of illegal immigrants is an ongoing thing. It was happening under Biden but maybe it wasn't publicized enough. Donald Trump is just laying too much emphasis on it. With regards to his moves concerning other countries, I think he was just expressing a mere wish. These countries are sovereign and he wasn't serious at all.

Not really. Biden was very weak on immigration. Do you have some sources?

Red herring detected.

Do you want to talk about immigration or do you want to talk about global politics?

Not really. Biden was very weak on immigration. Do you have some sources?
Yes, he was very weak on immigration as his administration let in millions.
It was happening under Biden
But, deportations were still happening.

It's just that there were so many illegal border crossings that the deportations are so minor in the scheme of things. If we estimate 15,000,000 let in and over the 4 years 800,000 were removed, that's essentially letting through 95% of the crossings (albeit I would wager deportations were also for finding illegals already here from other administrations).

It's small in the grand scheme of things.
as the tail end of some darker scheme.
My theory is to shift the demographics enough for the 2030 Census. That's why we need to get out as many as possible and as swiftly as possible.

Laws are meant to be followed. I agreed that the process of enforcing immigration law is tedious but it is crucial. My take is, to emphasize the importance of ensuring fairness and humanity in the implementation of these laws. No one would disagree that the current system is complex and there are certain inefficiencies, but I believe that increasing funding and providing more resources for relevant programs in immigration could help in a lot of ways.
