One of the best drinks for a balanced and healthy body is water. To keep the body hydrated and healthy, one needs to drink water on a daily basis. How many cups of water should one drink on a daily basis?
I believe about 5-10 cups of water on a daily basis is a good start. It all depends if you’re sweating or not. A good 44 oz cup of water is a good size cup to start drinking from.
It really depends on your activity levels. Personally, I don't drink plain water unless I'm playing some competitive sports on that day... even then, plain water is rare and I'll usually opt for an isotonic type sports drink.
Obviously all these other drinks contain water... as long as you're drinking about 2 litres in total per day (without strenuous exertion, double it if you're doing heavy exercise) then you should be safe from dehydration.

It is quite smart to hydrate like that! Of course, you are right because physical activity level has a great influence on the amount of fluid intake per day. I’m being meaning to ask that should the ordinary man and woman worry about being dehydrated if they are not exercising?

Consuming adequate water is not restricted to moments when you exercise, you need water all the time. It is natural to get tasty of water because of an average daily routine that we engage in like walking or performing the household work. You should aim to drink water and empty your bladder at least 8-10 times a day and listen when your body tells you that it needs some water.

Our body systems needs to consume plenty of water which does not have any relation to the amount of physical activity we have done in the day. As we urininate and we also need to drink water. It's a realistic goal. So, listening to your body system is very crucial.
The commonly advised amounts of 8 cups per day can be seen as a basic guideline, although it should be essential to recognize that vol as well. For instance, active sportsmen require more water to keep up with the losses they undergo.
I have a Simple Modern cup and a Stainless cup I alternate between. I try and drink like 3-4 of them a day with ice. Naturally, I'm peeing a lot lol. It's been great though.
