I have in the past bought a PlayStation console for my kids as a gift. I remember buying the PlayStation 3 and the PSP years back. The PSP was for my eldest son, and the PlayStation 3 was for all four of my kids.

I don't think I am going to gift anyone a PlayStation console. Most of them are quite expensive and not what I can easily replace when I give out the one that I am currently using?
No, I haven't but I once thought about gifting a PlayStation to my nephew but it was so expensive that I dropped the idea. I might gift PS console to my kid some day.
A Playstation has always been expensive in its own prime. I can't afford to donate a Playstation to someone when I have to save for a long time to get mine. But when I bought my Playstation 4, I handed over my Playstation 2 to my younger brother.
I haven't been gifted a PlayStation console myself and I have not gifted anyone either, but I've seen the excitement that comes with it, at least in my friend's faces when they received one.
