What would the storyline and genre be if you could invent your own game? Would you make it difficult or easy to beat? How would it be different from games already released?
I'm in the process of creating a game now, a very basic text-based game mind you, but I'm loving the experience! I'd love to be able to build a full-on game for a console, but that's way way out of my skillset and I know generally requires teams of people. Plus, I love learning how code works and how to build things through code deployment, whereas game design in big studios is all done through pre-built software packages and WYSIWYG editors nowadays.
I have no skills but if I could I that would be a RTS game called Ghurkha Warriors and features all the battles Ghurkha fought in 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Ghurkha were consider fierce warriers back then
I think am going to go for an open world game. It would be a mix of fantasy, action and adventure. The plot would be about a nobody who rises to become a hero who saves the world from a darklord through hard work. I am going to make it a decision based game where you can actually decide on what to do, and each of your choices has its consequences.
