Have you ever encountered a senior citizen having trouble with a smartphone?

It's definitely a thing. Because of that, they have a hard time doing things for themselves that require technology. They also are very vulnerable to scams and criminals who take them for everything they got.

All this is because they likely rejected learning how to use a cell phone when they first came out. Had they have accepted technology and learned as it evolved, they would likely be in a better position than they are now.

Humans are stubborn, regardless of their age.

The same is going to happen with AI. Mark my words. If you choose not to learn and master it, you'll get left behind. In a short time from now, AI use will dominate their world we live in and you'll either know how to cope with it and be fine or you won't and everything in life will be difficult, especially as you age.

Who agrees with me? Who disagrees?

My parents cannot use smartphone properly. It is good that they always ask their kids before taking major decision related to things that see online, otherwise, they would have been scammed multiple times. if you don't learn tech, you will surely be left behind. When I started working online, I was basically a writer. I thought writing skills would be enough. I did not lean tech skills, for instance, I never tried learning programming. Now, I am left behind on a lot of things.
I have been using Gen AI for a while and I am trying to learn better every day

Totally me too on that one.

I really wish I would have sat down and mastered programming. I'd love to create a mobile app. I can't afford to have someone else do it and I'm not good enough to make my own.

It's way harder to learn complex things in my 40s than it was when I was a teenager.
