discussDoes Technology Bring Families Closer or Drive Them Apart?
Technology plays a huge role in our lives today, but does it help families stay connected, or does it create distance? On one hand, video calls and messaging apps allow us to shorten the distances . Do you agree or disagree?
I do subscribe to the view that technology can help families come closer together. With video calls and messaging applications, it is easy to keep contacting people you care about who work or live far from you. I used it and it appears that we are closer even though we are not together physically.
Absolutely agree with you on technology bringing families together, most families hardly get to meet physically, with the help technology you get to communicate with people from different location.
Families that are living wide apart in terms of proximity are definitely brought together with the help of technology. I can't see how they will be able to keep in contact without technology.
Technology enhances closeness between families and friends. I get to communicate with my twin who's living in a distant location all because of technology. Times has changed, gone are the days people would stay far apart without hearing from each other. Now we get to relate with people living in remote location all thanks to technology.
Technology can do both, it can bring families closer through video calls, shared content, and instant communication, but it can also drive them apart if everyone’s glued to their own screens. I’ve seen moments where tech helps bridge distance, yet also times when it replaces real connection at the dinner table. It really depends on how it’s used.
Technology haß evolved and has made a huge impact in bringing familIes who are apart much more closer than in the days of letter writing. Now from chats to voice calls and even to video calls.
