I know musical notes and I learned from the choir. When I started music production, I also had to sharpen on how to pick the notes from a song that you hear. It helps to create instrumentals for a song. I am well versed in notation that I can always tell the next note that follows a current one.
I know musical notes to some extent but I'm not perfect with it because it's not my job and I do not plan to become a musician. I only learnt the basics while I was in school and it's only at the elementary stage.
