Headphones can come wired or wireless. A lot of people prefer the wireless type because they don't have to worry about managing the wire or being restricted to a spot depending on what they are using it on.

I prefer wired headphones because I don't have to worry about charging it all the time unlike the wireless ones. It's my biggest challenge with wireless headphones.

Which one do you prefer between wired or wireless headphones?

I had wired ones that broke, well, they were Bluetooth, but I used the 3.5mm input because 6 hour battery life was never enough.

Had them till they were irreparable by tape and replaced them with Sony WH1000XM5 wireless headphones. The noise canceling that they have make them better than my wired pair, but best of all it's either 30 or 40 hours of battery life. I run into "low battery" warnings ending my 2nd or 3rd day using them.

So, wireless here.

The cord on the previous one got in the way too much too.

It's only the cord that is usually the problem with wired headsets. When I wasn't used to them, I would suddenly stand up to walk before it pulls out of my head. My subconscious is used it now whenever I have the headset on.

That's the reason why, when I had a corded headset, I purposefully chose one with a detachable 3.5mm cord.

That way, if I ever stood up, it would yank out the cord quite easily without pulling on my head, and if I got too far from the laptop, it'd pull from either the laptop or headphones, still having them on and nothing tugging from my head. It's good for if you suddenly have to get up as it'll disconnect instead of abruptly yanking your head down or around when you're not expecting it.

Technology is changing by the passage of time. Now wireless headphones are becoming a normal thing. Many people prefer such kinds of wireless headphones because these kinds of headphones can enhance user experience due to high sound quality. This is why many people prefer them.

I use both. So, the one I pick up depends on the situation I'm in at that particular moment in time. If I'm to workout, then I would pick up wireless headphones because of its convenience and portability. But because of battery issues, sometimes I end up using wired headphones.

I have never used wireless headphones, I have always used wired headphones. However, I am planning to get a new headphones and this time I will go for wireless.
Do you have any particular product brand in mind which you're considering buying? I've heard about Bose and Sony brands being very good.

I had always used both wired ear buds and headphones, but found that after a while, the wire would either annoy me and get in the way of what I was doing, or it would get pulled because it was in the way and become faulty.

I just over a year ago bought myself wireless earbuds and it was the best thing I did! I do not miss the wires at all, and it makes things so much easier. I just have to remember to charge the case so the earbuds charge when I put them in the case :)

This is one of my reasons for still considering wireless headsets. They are so ideal for working out. It's going to be very difficult using wired headphones to workout.
