This is a thread to discuss anything related to television shows or series.
I like both as long as they are up my lane. I still enjoy old epics cause they give a better focus on the message than the get ups while its fun to watch recent shows for the punchlines and drama. I think every era has its own benefits and disadvantages. One can find gems everywhere if one knows where to look for.
As long as the story is good, have decent characters who did their jobs very well in acting, I wouldn't mind if it's an old TV show or a new one. The only difference now is that graphics and video quality is a lot more better now.
I think I am more in favour of the modern ones.
This is because of three reason:
1. Better production means better quality of the video and the entertainment quality is high.
2. Modern screenplay - fun and innovation
3. Available in OTT platforms - so you can watch at your own convenience.

Generally speaking, I like to watch new shows compared to old shows, however, sometimes I find myself going back to the shows I watched 15-20 years ago.
