For me, it is not a big issue if the game graphics are not superb but the gameplay is crucial. This means that a game does not have to look the best, it has to be fun and enjoyable to play regardless. The graphics may not be completely brilliant but the gameplay can make it up, on the other hand bad gameplay completely spoils a game even if its graphics are good.
